What is Benefits for Beginners?
The Benefits for Beginners project exists to help child care providers and early childhood workers understand children's developmental stages and needs.

The program provides training and incentives to increase the quality of child care within the Community Empowerment area.

Benefits for Beginners was created through Northwest Iowa Community Empowerment. We have employed a Child Care Development Specialist on staff with Child Care Resource and Referral of Northwest Iowa. The office is located at Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. in Remsen, IA.

The Childcare Development Specialist:

* Promotes training on child development

* Provides individual, on-site, follow-up training

* Facilitates the quality rewards program
